Hi, Brooke and Jada; we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
At the heart of The Eden Flower Co. is a story of sisterhood, friendship, and a passion for serving people through the beauty of flowers. Our story began in 2019, unbeknownst to us at the time, when we crafted artificial bouquets for one of our weddings. As fate would have it, a few years later, the roles reversed as the other of us tied the knot, and we got another opportunity to create the floral pieces. A revelation struck us as recurring questions arose; we realized people were genuinely curious about who we used for our florists, only to discover it was always us. The turning point arrived in early 2023 when we ventured into crafting bouquets for a third wedding. Encouraged by the positive feedback, we seized the moment. We took the leap of faith, officially launching The Eden Flower Co. Now, a few months away from celebrating a year in business, we are pleased to have serviced numerous weddings, blending the beauty of faux florals and real blooms, which is something that truly sets us apart. Our joy is immeasurable, knowing that what started as a dream is our reality. We are committed to excellence, bringing our clients’ floral dreams to life and honoring God in every aspect of our business.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Embarking on a business journey reveals that, despite thorough preparation, certain aspects can only be truly grasped through hands-on experience. Our path has been challenging, yet recognizing that each hurdle serves as a chance to learn valuable lessons and insights provides us with a positive outlook on every peak and valley we navigate.

Seeking a cost-effective mix of fresh and faux? We can even bring that vision to life. While our specialization lies in weddings, our services extend beyond to include events, funerals, gifts, and any occasion you decide you may need the gift of flowers. Our commitment to surpassing expectations through effective communication, thoughtful extra touches, and delivering the utmost in service excellence sets us apart.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
The biggest risk we took was launching our company with the option for real flowers. We had only done faux flowers before that, and we knew eventually we wanted to incorporate real flowers into the business, but the idea was that it would be further down the road in a few years or so. We got encouragement from our mentor (who has done real and faux) and from our husbands to launch with the option already available because we had the resources necessary to figure it out when we needed to. Thank God we did, as our clientele is typically 50/50 between faux and real, and without that option, we wouldn’t have been as successful as we have been thus far. If you have the right people in your corner, the right mentors and help alongside you, and the belief in yourself, you have what it takes to take risks and be successful.
